So first things first, you will need to think of a popular niche. Think of something that your target demographic would like, and would do anything in order to get it. In this case we just want them to do a survey or offer through whatever PPD or CPA network we are working with. Even if you think that the niche you are thinking of is way to overdone or saturated, just go for it. It’s what I did.
Now we need a place to host our site and a domain name. Now this is where I made my mistakes which led my site to crash and burn. I never expected my site to go viral and I was stuck on shared hosting…
Basically what that script does is create a referral system. In order to unlock a link to your download they have people click through their referral link. You can set the number of clicks they have to get to unlock the download link. Once they have enough clicks, the link to the download unlocks and that’s where you have your link to your content locker provided by your PPD or CPA network. By this time the work already has been done and others have visited the site and are referring other people as well. You’ll get banklinks to your site like a beast, and you barely have to do any work at all. It’s all being done by your wonderful guests. To get the ball rolling you will have to do some work of your own and spread your own referral link or advertise your site on popular forums and facebook fanpages related to your niche.
I knew nothing about SEO at the time and I was surprised to see my site ranking on page one for some keywords related to my niche. Keep in mind that I had an EMD, my rankings probably would have been different if I didn’t have those keywords in the domain.
My website was an exact copy of my niche’s official website. You’d even think you were on the official website yourself if you didn’t look at the domain. So if you plan on doing this, consider it something short term but you will bank hard.
Another thing you want to add to your site is a social pop up that will force the visitor to either like, tweet, or +1 your page. Have your likes pointing towards your facebook fanpage if you plan on utilizing one.
I found that I was getting some good traffic from a facebook fanpage I made for my site. Post some photos or something that’ll get the user to like and share page.
After that C&D I had to change my domain and the way my site looked. Not only that, a few months later facebook decided to take down my fanpage. For reasons I don’t know, I tried to get it back but they just kept pointing me towards a page with generic information about the TOS. I collected over 170K fans on that page too, and after the loss I noticed a big drop in earnings.
That’s basically it. If you plan on using this guide just don’t make the same mistakes that I made. I hope you picked up something useful from this guide.
